A Quilter's Cottage (AQC) is located in the Historic District of Englewood, FL. We have so much to offer you and hope you can take some time to stroll leisurely through our lovely quilt shop here in southwest Florida. We feature close to 4100 bolts of quality quilting fabric with a huge selection of over 600 bolts of beautiful batiks in every color imaginable giving us the largest inventory of batiks in the area. We carry Moda, Hoffman, Jinny Beyer & Kaufman fabrics along with a wonderful selection of many Asian, florals, calicoes & novelty fabrics.
New batik collections are arriving weekly! We have one of the largest collections in Southwest Florida!

Kits, Patterns & Accessories
Here at A Quilter's Cottage, we take the time to make beautiful coordinated fat quarter packets that
our customers love. We call them "Quilt Starters". These are great time busters and will help you on your way to creating your quilts.
Along with our fabrics we carry a variety of patterns for quilting, projects such as purses, clothing and household items. We offer quilt kits with many samples available for viewing. We carry a large selection of jelly rolls, fat quarters & charm squares along with classes from beginner to advanced to help you develop your projects. We also carry Mettler and Sulky threads and blendables as well as many specialty items such as rulers, needles, scissors, batting varieties and some unique new tools such as a lovely scented spray starch and a gripper that is extraordinary for rotary cutting. These are just a few samples of what are in store when you visit our shop. Check our Newsletter link periodically for item updates on the latest info from the quilting world.
You will find we have many services available to help you start and finish your quilts and other projects. We have finishing services for quilters from longarm quilting with our on site Gammill Optimum to hand sewn quilting and binding by the local Amish community. Lessons are offered by several experienced instructors in the areas of quilting, clothing construction, binding, paper piecing, table runners, landscape quilting, tote bags and purses, placemats and so much more.
