| Chris Raver Chris is the owner & founder of A Quilter’s Cottage which began over 3 years ago in a little cottage in Englewood, FL . The space was quickly outgrown and within a few months her store was moved & expanded to include over 4000 bolts of fabric in its current location. She & her husband, Dick, originate from Illinois. She is a retired Kindergarten teacher & shop owner, she also does all of the shop’s longarm quilting creating beautiful, unique designs for your quilt tops. Bring your quilts to Chris for a beautiful professional quilted finish done on her Gammill Longarm. |
| Carolyn Renaud Carolyn comes to the shop from a New England background & worked in health care management before retiring. Having 7 granddaughters, sewing their dresses & clothing became a full time hobby. She became interested in machine embroidery & quilting & specialized in stained glass quilting. She has designed stained glass quilt patterns & enjoys teaching these special techniques as well as other quilting classes. Her husband's light boxes enable her students to trace with ease the large stained glass quilted wall hangings that result from taking one of her classes. |
| Brenda Roberts Brenda has been sewing since she was 12 years old. She especially enjoys applique such as florals & stems, has done the Jo Morton series of quilting & especially likes Mary Sorensen's applique patterns.
