Chris Raver
Chris is the owner & founder of A Quilter’s Cottage which began over 3 years ago in a little cottage in Englewood, FL . The space was quickly outgrown and within a few months her store was moved & expanded to include over 4000 bolts of fabric in its current location. She & her husband, Dick, originate from Illinois. Not only is she a full time teacher & shop owner, she also does all of the shop’s longarm quilting creating beautiful, unique designs for your quilt tops. Amanda Miller
Amanda began her sewing career from her humble background as a mother of 6 in the Ohio community. After moving to Florida she opened her own shop, Amanda’s Alterations, in Englewood, FL at which she serviced the community for many years in garment & household alterations. After retiring from her business, she decided to come back as manager of A Quilter’s Cottage. Her unique combination of business experience & sewing skills enables her to provide custom work & service for our customers not only here but all over the country. She makes many of our shop quilt models as well as our many fabric gift items throughout the store. If you are looking for supplies & specialty fabrics, she will know where to find them. |

Susan Yoder
Susan is one of our teachers here at A Quilter’s Cottage. She originates from Ohio’s Amish community and owned her own quilt shop, A Country Touch, in Middlefield, Ohio for 11 years. She is one of our classroom teachers & provides many of our quilt samples for our classes. Her years of quilting experience enable her to bring her hand quilting skills & superior machine piecing techniques to her classes. Her family is related to the famous Roy Rogers & she helps provide hand-sewn items to the Roy Rogers Museum in Branson, Missouri. Look for her tips in our newsletter.
Patt Mead
Although Patt is a relative newcomer to the quilting world, she has been sewing throughout her life. She comes from Syracuse, NY and worked for years as a business manager in finance, travelling all over the world. Her affinity for numbers & design was a perfect match for quilting. Her specialty is color matching & design. She is also one of our teachers & provides classes in quilting as well as many projects from placemats to purses & totes. You will enjoy her tips to make your quilting easy & fun.
