
Texas Sheet Cake
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
2 sticks butter
4 tbs cocoa
1 c. water
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 eggs
Boil 2 sticks butter, 1 c. water & 4 tbs cocoa. In a bowl, combine sugar & flour. To this add cocoa mixture. After mixing , add eggs, soda & sour cream & stir. Put on greased cookie sheet ( jelly roll pan) & bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
Icing
1 stick butter
4 tbs cocoa
6 tbs milk
Boil together and add 1 box powdered sugar. Ice cake as soon as you take out of oven. Put chopped nuts across top of cake. Enjoy!

Hot Fudge Pudding Cake
1 c. flour 2 T. melted shortening
2 tsp baking powder 1 c. chopped nuts
1/4 tsp salt 1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar 4 T. cocoa
2 T. cocoa 1 3/4 c. hot water
1/2 c. milk
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar & cocoa. Stir in milk, shortening & then nuts. Spread in a 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar & cocoa. Cover with water. Bake for 45 min. During baking the cake rises to the top & a rich sauce puddles under the cake. Serve warm with whipped cream.
Party Cheese Ball
2 8oz. pkg of cream cheese 1 tbs. worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1-2 tbsp chopped green onion (if desired)
1/4 c. crumbled blue cheese
1 c. chopped walnuts, glazed pecans, parsley or desired
topping
Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, blue cheese & worcestershire sauce in food processor or mixer. Pulse until thoroughly mixed. Add chopped green onion if desired. Remove from mixing bowl with spatula onto waxed paper. Chill for 30 min. Then roll into a ball with hands. Scatter walnuts or toppings of choice onto wax paper. Roll cheese ball over walnuts until outside is coated. Top with maraschino cherry. Wrap in plastic wrap & chill for a few hours. Serve with crackers.
